Earth Electrode System Mortar

Natural sodium bentonites are used in earth electrode back-fill (to grout) to help lower soil resistivity  together with electrically conductive aggregates with cement, thereby providing electrically conductive concrete. Electrodes (including earth rods) can be encased in the Earthing compound  for   increasing their surface area and  lowering the resistance to earth.
