The first category involves bentonites (both powder and granular) used in mixing with clay for the construction of geological barriers, closing biogas wells and waterproofing of hydraulic works.
The second field of application includes absorption of hydrocarbons in accidental spillages, absorption of oil and derivatives in cleaning holding tanks, recovery of chlorinated solvents used as degreasing agents and absorption of oils in workshops and manufacturing departments.
