Divisione deposito chimico costiero | Coastal Chemical Depot division
L’attività di ricezione, stoccaggio e spedizione di prodotti chimici è ini- ziata nel 1993 quando sono state costruite cisterne per lo stoccaggio dell’acido solforico sul canale industriale del porto di Livorno. Nel 2010 sono stati costruiti e commissionati nuovi serbatoi per altri pro- dotti industriali liquidi (alchilati).
Oggi il deposito chimico costiero ha una capacità geometrica totale di 4.500 metri cubi, suddivisi tra 5 serbatoi: due serbatoi di 1.500 metri cubi per l’acido solforico e tre serbatoi di 500 metri cubi per gli alchilati. Nel 2020, 4 petroliere sono state ormeggiate nella banchina dedicata e scaricate per un totale di 12.200 tonnellate di acido solforico. Per quanto riguarda gli alchilati, 940 tonnellate sono state ricevute e spe- dite su strada.
Una forte attenzione ai problemi di sicurezza, la posizione geografica nell’Italia centrale e i collegamenti rapidi con l’autostrada sono i prin- cipali punti di forza della divisione.
The business of receipt, storage and dispatch of chemicals began in 1993 when tanks were built for storing sulphuric acid on the industrial canal of the port of Livorno. In 2010 new tanks were built and commissioned for other liquid industrial products (alkylates). Today the coastal chemical depot has a total geometric capacity of 4,500 cubic metres, divided up between 5 tanks: Two 1,500 cubic metre tanks for sulphuric acid and three 500 cubic metre tanks for alkylates.
In 2020, 4 tankers were berthed at the dedicated quay and unloaded a total of 12,200 tons of sulphuric acid. As regards alkylates, 940 tons were received and dispatched by road.
Strong attention to safety issues, the geographical location in central Italy and the fast links with the motorway are the division’s main strengths.

Nell’agosto 2020 nasce all’interno di Carlo Laviosa una nuova divisione con l’obiettivo di consolidare tutte le esigenze logistiche degli stabili- menti italiani ed esteri delle attività industriali del gruppo Laviosa Mi- nerals.
Fin dall’inizio, la visione è quella di consolidare tutte le attività logisti- che; strada, container, rinfuse (secche e liquide), magazzinaggio, di- stribuzioni, di impianti italiani e filiali di Laviosa Minerals in un’unica divisione hanno raggiunto risultati incoraggianti.
Contiamo Il personale di 4 persone qualificate è ben integrato nella dinamica industriale e nelle esigenze delle business units industriali del gruppo e sono pronti a portare avanti qualsiasi opportunità logisti- ca che possa creare risparmi nella catena di approvvigionamento.
In August 2020 a new division was created in Carlo Laviosa with the goal of consolidating all the logistics requirements of the Italian and foreign subsidiaries plants of the industrial activities of the Laviosa Minerals group.
Since the start, the vision is to consolidate all the logistic activities; road, containers, bulk ( dry and liquids), warehousing, distributions, of Italian and subsidiaries plants of Laviosa Minerals into one single division have met encouraging results.
The staff of 4 skilled persons is well embedded into the Industrial dynamic and needs of the Industrial business units of the group and are ready to take advance of any logistics opportunities that might create supply chain savings.
