The identification of at least one development way for high value- added sales for each one of the Group’s Business Units and/or for every market sector on which we are present, is a fundamental task now and also for the years to come. In BU Construction Technologies, for example, we are studying the strategic factor represented by the possibility of verticalizing the process by internalizing the production of some components, which we currently formulate externally and which are taking on important importance in terms of turnover. A valid alternative, also in the field of M&A, could be to adopt integration policies within the supply chain, acquiring stakes in supplying companies, to ensure a more consolidated and conscious partnership.

The company’s ability to control the “from mine to market” business process is a fundamental strategic line of development for several reasons. These include access and availability to raw materials that are qualitatively stable over time and the possibility of innovation, developing products that meet certain market needs, through the control of the raw material and the process. It is essential to pursue, in all of ours “way to act”, the concept of circular economy, which will increasingly be part of our lives and our way of doing business.
