In Livorno, the company supports the summer festival \u201cSguardi in Fortezza\u201d (Views in the Fortress), curated by artistic director Marco Bruciati, through its Laviosa Foundation. Three evenings in the heart of the Old Fortress, with free admission for all company employees. The programme opens on 23 June with \u201c<em>Romeo \u00e8 Giulietta<\/em>\u201d (Romeo is Juliet), continues on 28 July with \u201c<em>L&#8217;Albero<\/em>\u201d (The Tree) and concludes on 11 August with \u2018<em>Luce\u2019<\/em>. Directors and actors will be present to introduce the screenings, offering a direct dialogue with the audience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The festival offers an original and contemporary look at female narratives in contemporary Italian cinema, in which women are no longer just objects of the male gaze, but become active agents of transformation. The protagonists of the three films presented &#8211; <em>Romeo \u00e8 Giulietta<\/em>, <em>Luce<\/em> and <em>L&#8217;Albero<\/em> &#8211; offer three different and complementary perspectives: that of the theatre as a symbolic place of confrontation between the sexes, that of adolescence seeking to name its own experience, and that of memory as an act of female justice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In Villaspeciosa, Sardinia, Laviosa is financing and promoting the screening of Roberto Carta&#8217;s documentary film &#8216;<em>Donne in Miniera&#8217; <\/em>(Women in the Mines), scheduled for 15 July in the picturesque Parco di San Platano, thanks to the collaboration with the Municipality of Villaspeciosa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The film recounts the little-known stories of women who, in a difficult and deeply masculine historical context, worked in the mines of Sulcis-Iglesiente. Through first-hand accounts and archive footage, the documentary restores dignity and memory to these courageous figures, symbols of emancipation and resistance. The director will be present at the screening to meet the audience and share reflections, stories and insights related to the making of the film and the themes it deals with.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Through these initiatives, Laviosa affirms a corporate vision that focuses on people and the local area, strengthening its commitment to inclusion.
